Where does your curiosity take you?

I love places that tell a story, have a history, a unique culture. I am in love with beautiful landscapes and connecting to new people, places that make me feel like I really travelled somewhere. My worst nightmare would be a two week all-inclusive stay in a hotel while only traveling between the pool and the bar. Places that teach me something about myself own my heart. To me, traveling is exploring and freedom.

Amsterdam, a popular European travel destination where many people come to spend a few days or even a week. But, it’s also very common for visitors to only have one day in Amsterdam. This may be due to a layover, a river cruise, or perhaps just a planned day trip from a nearby city.

I definitely would recommend to spend more than one day in Amsterdam, if possible, but you can also see and do a lot with a limited amount of time. Maybe you decide to come to this beautiful city again at a different time.

After living in Berlin for two weeks, I have to say: It’s impossible to see everything this city has to offer in only two days. Two weeks were enough to realize that I need more time. This city somehow stole my heart, and I’m sure to visit Berlin again this year in winter.

If you have only one weekend in Berlin you can still have an incredible experience and leave the city wanting more!

When travelling, I’m always into regional food and drinks; trying to find the best spots for an early morning coffee, a late brunch or a good dinner, and some nice drinks.

Most of the time, the terms local and national cuisine are synonymous. However, in Berlin, this is very much not the case. Traditional German food is certainly available in Berlin, but not as present as it is in Cologne, Dusseldorf or Munich. Many locals prefer to indulge in the plethora of international options. Sometimes you even wonder if you are still in Germany when wandering through Berlin, searching for a good food spot.
